Need in Deed


Founded in 1987, Need in Deed's mission has been to prepare youth for civic responsibility and service to others. Need in Deed listens to students voice their concerns about the world around them and supports them in taking positive action. This organization collaborates with teachers and schools, focusing on grades 3 – 8. They use a unique service-learning process called My Voice, which is a process of self-discovery, reflection, research and action that connects the classroom with the community.
